"Uh, (Name)?" You turned your neck to see the paraplegic boy in your doorway. "Hey, Tav!" You smiled, turning your whole body to face him, kneeling on the cushion. "Uh, sorry for not, uh, telling you that I'd be visiting... I, uh, just wanted to hang out..." You smiled, patting the seat next to you. "It's fine! Gamzee not home today?" You asked, curious. "Uh, no, he was just, really drunk and I, uh, couldn't take it anymore."
He plopped down next to you, closing his eyes and sighing. You stood to go get him an Advil and a glass of water, feeling his eyes watch you as you left. Keeping your cool, you came back with the things and sat down next to him. He took the water and swallowed the pill, hoping to relieve his pounding headache.
"Spending the night?" You question. "Can I?" You laughed softly. "You don't even have to ask anymore, you've slept over a majority of this month." You smiled at him, watching his face burn light pink. "S-sorry..." He stuttered, looking away. You sprawled out, your feet in his lap. "It's not bother, really Tavros. I understand that Gamzee thing... Karkat takes care of him, it's not your responsibility, so don't feel bad." He nodded, still not meeting your smoldering eyes. "Y-yeah, I know... but I can't, uh, help it..."
He finally turned from the wall to face you. You smile again, heating up his face. Tavros was your neighbor from across the street and his clown roommate, Gamzee, had a drinking problem. He's been taking refuge in your house for a month now, trying to get away from the screams of honk and abusive punches. You saw a fresh bruise on his neck that looked somewhat like a hickey. "Tavvy, pull off your shirt." He gave you a startled squeak, looking at your with wide eyes. You rolled your eyes. "Just do it."
He hesitantly slipped his brown tee off, revealing scars and bruises. "Holy fuck, Tavros!" You almost screamed, scrambling over to him. "Did he do this to you?!" Your heart was racing with the thought of someone hurting your crush. He nodded slightly, looking defeated. Your blood boiled as you traced the scar on his chest that looked like a clown face. The raised skin was tender to the touch and he winced occasionally as you touched it. : o)
"I'm not going to stand for this..." You mumble under your breath. Tavros weakly tried to push you away. You looked up into his eyes, they showed shame and blame. "Tavros, you don't really blame yourself for this, do you?" He was silent, though the answer was ringing in the air. "Tavros!" You gripped his wrists as tears pricked your eyes.
"Tavros, this is and never will be your fault! You hear me?" You felt your heart breaking at how easily he gave up. After Vriska took his legs, he depended on Gamzee for support, until the crazy clown cracked and started doing drugs and alcohol, going into a state of ignorance for other peoples feelings. "Tav..." You wiped a tear from his cheek, sitting on his lap and hugging him. "Maybe you should move in with me..."
He clutched your waist tightly, shaking with sobs. "B-but, G-gamz-" "Don't worry about him, Karkat has it under control. He won't hurt him..." You growled as the words came out of your mouth. You resented Karkat for being the only one Gamzee wouldn't hurt. He'd slice and swing with no mercy at Tavros, but he'd never lay a finger on Karkat. Tavros cried into your shoulder, trembling and coughing.
When he started to sniffle, you pulled away. His face was bright red, eyes pink and puffy. "Tavros..." You frowned, kissing his forehead. "It'll be okay... Everything will turn out okay..." You hugged him again, rubbing his back.
After an hour or so of tracing circles on his bare skin, he started snoring softly, going somewhat limp in your arms. "Tavvy... You're safe with me... I won't let anything happen to you..." After lowering him to a laying position and tucking a soft blanket around him, you crawled in next to him on the couch and kissed him softly.
"I love you, Tavvy... I'll protect you, until the day I die..."

Male!Aradia x Reader - Lost in the Woods
“On guard!”
“Oh no!” You cried out, falling to the ground. A sharp sword had been pushed into your abdomen. You fell into the dirt, letting out a final battle cry. “I swear to you, my army will avenge my death!”
And then, you croaked.
“I’ll take you to your grave,” Aaron muttered. He grabbed your ankles and began dragging you deeper into the forest. The two of you both tried to stifle your giggles as you traveled along the forest trail.
The farther and farther Aaron dragged you, however, the more it seemed you were getting off the trail. You were a bit concerned. What if the two of you

Gifts {Human!Karkat x Reader}
Stressful.
If Karkat Vantas had to choose a word to describe his day it would be stressful. The raven haired man ran a hand through his hair as a sigh escaped his lips and red eyes bore in the shelf in front of him, he was contemplating on his whole day as he examined jewelry while trying to ignore the sound of kids running around squealing in joy over the toys that were going to be bought by their parents. And honestly, he would love to get out of this store, out of the jewelry section, back at his apartment with his girlfriend and his snake pet all watching together a romcom. But no. Because _________ wanted a gift for Christmas and what w

[A Change of Plans {Karkat}]
[Your POV]
The cold nipped at your bare skin, your icy breath fanning out into a cloud as cold snow pelted at your back. Rubbing your arms, you rushed towards your friend Karkat’s house, cursing at your lack of transportation. Seriously, how does your heater die the same time your roommate, Sollux, is out with your car?! Such bad timing. You reached the doorstep of the house, giving it a knock or two, “C’mon Kar answer your damn door...” you muttered, your fingers trembling as you reached to press the bell.
“Who the fuck thought it was a great idea to—“ Karkat sw
